Molukas Labs has developed some nodes to measure temperature, relative humidity and atmospheric pressure. Currently, some of them are ONLINE and operating with AA batteries in different locations: Gandía (Valencia), Daimús (Valencia) and Madrid.
Special thanks to the companies and the people who are involved in this new project !
Two members of our staff have successfully passed the tests and the final project to achieve the LoRaWAN Academy Course Certificate.
“LoRaWAN Academy is an all-encompassing, hands-on curriculum for university students to learn about the LoRaWAN™ open specification from the creators of LoRa® and the ecosystem that scaled its international adoption. The two-part training program includes a robust online course library as well as LoRaWAN development kits and IoT network infrastructure for hands-on lab training.”
Congratulations, guys !
February 1st through 3rd, 2018 Molukas Labs staff, as active members of TTN Madrid community, attended The Things Conference in Amsterdam. This was the first conference ever organised by the community initiators from The Things Network.
For those that have no clue what The Things Network is, this is the short description from their website:
“The Things Network is building a network for the Internet of Things by creating abundant data connectivity, so applications and businesses can flourish. The technology we use is called LoRaWAN and it allows for things to talk to the internet without 3G or WiFi. So no WiFi codes and no mobile subscriptions. It features low battery usage, long range and low bandwidth. Perfect for the internet of things.”
We have installed a new eight-channel LoRaWAN gateway to start with the Smart Marina project in Gandía (Valencia, SPAIN). The gateway used for this project is a MatchX MATCHBOX model with integrated GPS.
Outdoor use, IP65 rating and ASA weather-resistent enclosure.
